Well it's official.... Daniel and I are full Alabama Residents.... After a long day hopping from one office to the other, we are Alabama Residents.  Now we just play the waiting game for the licenses and other cards to come in the mail.

We are in the home stretch of this pregnancy.  In about 10 days, our little bundle of joy will be here.  Daniel and I are excited beyond belief.  Yesterday while running one of our many errands, an employer at our local bank and I were talking about pregnancy and the "Final Countdown."  She asked me how I have been sleeping at night and I told her one night I can sleep amazing, but the next I will wake up every two hours.  She said that she has an 8 month old little girl, and she went through the same ordeal that I am experiencing.  She said it must be our body's way of preparing for the every 2-4 hour feedings.  I am glad I wasn't the only one thinks this.  Well hopefully in about 10-14 years I will get back to a "normal" sleeping pattern.  Hopefully.  :)

Why no Facebook?  Some of you may be asking.

First, I find my time being spent more on Facebook than anything else.  I get so focus on it, that when I realize I have lost 1 or 2 hours to reading status messages, playing games, I feel horrible and disappointed in myself.  So, how is blogging any different than Facebooking?  Simple.  I am able to log onto the blog, type my thoughts and ideas, and sign off.  I am not tempted to search through friends' status messages, or play games, etc.  There seems to be a lot of drama on Facebook, "Do I add this person? Do I not?", "Why did this person want to add me?", "I cannot believe what this person said on their status."  Yes blogging can be classified as an extended version of a status message; however, it's our blog.  Meaning:  we type in the blog, and whoever wants to read it can read it; we are not tempted to read others' stuff.

Second, with the arrival of our little Matthew in a week and a half, we will be super busy between keeping up with him, Daniel's school work, and me studying for many entrance exams.  Entrance exams?  Yep, I said it.  I am applying to start the Nursing program at Calhoun and the Surgical Tech Program at Calhoun.  Hopefully I will get into one of them, and be able to work in the medical field once again.  I worked for a surgeon's office in Huntsville for the longest time, and my favorite part was being a Medical Assistant.  It was interesting to sit in on procedures, interact with the patients, helping patients with post-operative care, etc.  But the most intriguing part of the position, was discovering what the human body is capable of doing.  AMAZING!  Anyways, I have a couple of entrance exams that I will be studying for along with finding a new job.  :)

So I will leave you with that.... :)
