"Be My Protector"

My parents have a dog named "Kiah."  We were worried how she was going to react to the new baby in the house and most importantly how the new baby was going to react to Kiah.  Well, let me tell you, Kiah is one protective dog!

We gave Matthew a bath and put baby lotion on him one night.  Well the next night, we changed it up and put baby oil on him.  Kiah had to come over and sniff around the baby to "make sure it was the same baby." Once satisfied, Kiah hopes off the couch and goes along her merry little way.  It is so funny! 

We have had a lot of visitors come by, and each time Matthew is handed off to another person you better believe Kiah will be right there watching your every move!

Home at Last

One whole day early!  Can you believe it?!  Dr. Callison told us that since Matthew was doing so well, and I was getting up and moving around without using lots of pain medicine then we could go home today.  We were super excited.  There is nothing like being at home with the entire family.  :)
